Working at Nest for 3 years, Martell is the DE&I business partner and part of the People and Culture team at Nest Pensions. With more than 13 million savers, Nest is one of the largest Master Trusts in the UK. Martell started his journey in the Civil Service in HR, whilst supporting his organisation to become more inclusive.. For the past 5 years, his focus has shifted to create an inclusive experience for applicants, candidates, and existing colleagues to ensure they have a positive experience, whilst ensuring the organisation benefits from its diversity. Martell is keen to see a working environment and society which is inclusive for all. He is passionate about the work that he does, not only because of his own experiences, but also because of the experiences of those around him, and that is amongst one of many reasons why he is an advocate for inclusion.
